Track and Field and Cross Country

Throughout its long history, the Seattle Pacific track & field and cross country program has been — and continues to be — one of the more successful and prominent small-school programs in the nation. It has produced 26 national and Olympic team members, 42 national collegiate champions, and more than 200 All-Americans. Its excellence continues to this day as the Falcons have won numerous conference crowns in recent years and regularly have participants at the NCAA Championships: cross country, indoor track, and outdoor track.
As many of you know, track is a challenging sport. Our season spans August to May, with cross country in the fall, indoor track during the winter, and outdoor track in the spring. The team practices five to six times a week and Falcon athletes typically are racing somewhere most every Saturday. The physical demands of training and racing obviously take a toll on our student-athletes.

Putting your generosity to work:

  • To provide each team member — all of whom compete at least two seasons (winter indoor track and spring outdoor track) and some of whom compete all three seasons (fall cross country plus both track season) with a pair of high-quality training shoes.
